(May 14, 2015) A small field of cars didnt hinder the night as we saw multiple leaders throughout the A main and even a first time winner at Dirt Series.

We ran two heat races with the first one being won from the front row outside as Blake Drohman would take the lead on lap one and never look back. A charge was put on him from Andrew Engels though as Engels closed the gap late and proved he would be a factor later in the night. Heat two saw more of the same as James Rotruck also started front row outside and would take the lead in the first corner and lead every lap en route to a win. James Lindsey would make his way into the dash through passing points in his heat after he went from 6th to 2nd.

Next we lined up the two heat race winners along with the highest four in passing points for a dash. Rodney Pearce would take advantage of invert and start on the pole for the four lap sprint. He would never falter with the lead and he would go on for the win. Finally it was time to line em up for the feature.

We would go 40 laps and the early portion of the race was controlled by dash winner Rodney Pearce. He would lead the first 11 laps of the race until an race wreck occurred that involved him and he would have to go to the back. This then made way for James Lindsey to lead the next 7 laps of the race until the fast Andrew Engels would overtake him. Engels would overtake the lead on lap 18 and never lose it. He would go on to capture his first win at Dirt-Series and overtake the Lucas Oil Speedway track points lead! Josh Smith would be your hard charger as he went from 10th to 7th. This coming Thursday we are back at Lucas Oil Speedway in the Dirt Motorsport '15 Late Models for the Show Me 100!
