(April 23, 2015) A stacked field of modifieds made for an exciting race Thursday night for the Big Dawg 100. 20 cars would show to take time where the top eight would be locked into the feature. We took the other twelve drivers and put them into two B Mains where some great racing took place. In B Main #1 Joshua Gayman would never falter the lead even with Josh Smith on the charge. He would win the first B. The second B main saw some much better racing as Austin Carr and Clayton Fraley would duke it out for the top position. Carr would get the better of him and go on for the win. Before the main event we still had to run a dash for the top eight in qualifying. Brent Crowley would get the jump from the start and lead lap number one before Blake Drohman and Rodney Pierce roared through the 8 car field making some exciting moves. Drohman would lead all but the first and last lap as Rodney Pierce bested him in the final corner. Finally it was time to dial em up for the 100 lapper. It was pretty evident from early on in this race that Justin Clark would be the guy to beat as he jumped out to the lead just four laps into the race. Clark would be challenged early and often throughout the race from James Rotruck. Rotruck was fast but just didnt have quite enough to get around Clark on the restarts. Clark would lead 96 laps in dominating fashion and repeat as the Big Dawg Champion! Congrats to Justin and also Joshua Gayman on being the nights hard charger(9th to 3rd).
